We started our day with some Cuban cuisine. We drove on the Tamiami trail to get to a restaurant named Versailles.  We had been told to eat here the last time we were in Miami but did not get an opportunity to get too. We parked the car walked up and there was a Maitre De. All dressed up. We thought well crap, we are very undressed for this in our t-shirts and shorts. They may not let us in. 🙁 He took our name we had a seat and they called us in for seating! Yay Us! This place was super fancy inside. Beautiful Chandeliers, etched mirrors and tile work throughout the whole place. It was impressive.  . This is a beautiful memorial.  These guys were all hanging out on th buoys they are a double breasted cormorant.  They dive under water to catch fish then swim like ducks.  They enjoy being in a flock of others and being on their own.

They open at 9:00am so we delayed our morning departure for the day to coincide with the opening. After getting our milkshakes Strawberry, Pineapple, and Mango! 😋 We went out back to watch the animals The Tortoises were moving at a pretty good pace. The Ostrich was out strutting his stuff! Goats are an absolute blast to watch play! Check out Mr. Tortoise heading back to his man cave. This is a Muscovy Duck. Muscovy Ducks are the only ducks not descendants of Mallards.  They do not even speak the same language as all of the other ducks. The girls make a trill sound and the boys make a huff huff s...
