The first stop on the Tamiami Trail is a memorial to a plane crash flight 592 that occurred on May 11, 1996. 110 people parished in this crash no bodies were recovered.  There are 110 pillars in memory of the 110 victims of the crash. This is a beautiful memorial.  These guys were all hanging out on th buoys they are a double breasted cormorant.  They dive under water to catch fish then swim like ducks.  They enjoy being in a flock of others and being on their own.
